Canopies & Tents
Canopies and tents can be used for almost anything outdoors. The most common uses for them are as shelters for people, either as camping accommodation, temporary living quarters after housing structural damage and for storage of items such as vehicles and boats. They employ the use of strong poles and thick PVC canvas to create a viable shelter in all kinds of weather, and depending on the use they can be made waterproof and windproof using vents and covers. These structures make great overhead protection from heavy rain and bright sunlight.
Outdoor weddings are a big event during the summer months, but unpredictable weather often means that these cannot be left out in the open for too long. With a cake, table arrangements and expensive outfits to consider, many people will use a party tent to cover the dining area and create an indoor shelter that provides instant access to the outside space. If the space needs to be more open, panels can be lifted on the tent, or canopies can be used to create the overhead cover without interrupting the view of the garden. These canopies are also good sun protection in play areas and yards.
These structures are also ideal for marine storage where boats are moored. Although boats are waterproof on the underside, they still need protection from the elements on the deck. Fitting a whole tarp can take time, so these boat canopies can make all the difference to someone who will use their boat frequently. They can also be used as a more permanent structure for storing boats over the winter, or on dry land when the boat is stored out of the water. These only take a few hours to construct, and can be stored away in a garage or attic when no longer needed.
