All of our Rhino Shelter brand portable garage products are shipped directly to you from our warehouses in Milford, Connecticut, USA - unless you specify to us that you intend to pick up your delivery at the warehouse. ABOUT YOUR PURCHASE BY CREDIT CARD: We are happy to offer you the convenience of either purchasing your portable garage or other structure by credit card directly from our site, or by PayPal - whichever method you prefer. If you paid directly by credit card on our site, please note that the charge on your credit card statement will reflect either "Portable Garages And Shelters" or "http://www.portablegaragesandshelters.com/." (Orders from our friends and neighbors in Canada will be invoiced direct via PayPal since our website is not set up to take online orders outside the US.)
HOW WE SHIP: Our Rhino portable garage kits, portable greenhouse kits, party tents, portable shelters, and all other portable garages and buildings are shipped via motor freight (typically on a tractor trailer truck) from our warehouse in Milford, Connecticut, USA.
Our products have been specifically packaged to be consumer friendly, and are separated into boxes so that two people can unload it with ease.
Our packaging is designed to protect your unit during shipping, and each piece is individually wrapped in plastic to furthere protect it against moisture. We care about our customers!
You will notice that all our product listings have extensive specifications and features to help you choose the portable garage, portable greenhouse, party tent, or other portable shelter that is right for you.
WHEN WE SHIP: For all in-stock products, we are typically able to ship your order within 2 business days unless we are experience unusually heavy volume. If we are temporarily out-of-stock, we will notify you as quickly as possible regarding the anticipated stock and delivery date.
NOTIFICATION OF PENDING DELIVERY: Our carriers will attempt to call you (using the DAYTIME telephone number you provide on your order form) to give you their anticipated schedule so that you can arrange to receive delivery.
SHIPPING OF MOTORCYCLE AND CAR POCKETS: Our motorcycle and car pockets are a bit lighter in weight than our other portable shelters, and are therefore shipped via UPS (United Parcel Service).
NOTICE REGARDING SALES TAX FOR PICK-UP and CONNECTICUT DELIVERY: Be aware that you will be charged 6% Connecticut Sales Tax if you 1) pick up your delivery at the warehouse, and/or 2) your order is delivered within the State of Connecticut.
NOTICE REGARDING SHIPMENT TO ALASKA, HAWAII, and CANADA: We are happy to ship your order to Alaska and Hawaii. Please email us with your full address (including ZIP/Postal Code) for a quote before ordering to ensure that we can appropriately accommodate your order. => For our Canadian friends: In many cases, it may not be feasible for us to ship to Canada. Before you contact us with a request for a quote, we respectfully request that you visit our "Canadian Information" page here first. Please keep in mind that your purchase is subject to taxes and/or duties as determined by Canadian authorities, and we require that you provide us with the contact information for the Customs Broker of your choice who will help expedite delivery of your order. This information is required at the time of your order. Your Customs Broker may also be able to advise you as to what taxes and/or duties may be due. At this time we do not ship to other International destinations.
Special Note for our Canadian friends in SE British Columbia or Southern Alberta: It may save you some money to have your order shipped to The Montana Shipping Outlet in Eureka, Montana, which is very close to the border - just 8 miles south of Roosville, BC. For a small fee, they can receive your portable garage for you to pick up there. Call them at (406) 297-2016 or visit their web site at: www.montanashipping.com. Of course, you are still responsible for your taxes and/or duties crossing the border.
COMBINE ORDERS TO SAVE ON SHIPPING! We may be able to help you save on shipping charges if you combine orders or purchase multiple products. Please email us for a quote before placing such orders. For example, if both you and a neighbor both wish to purchase a portable garage, portable greenhouse, or other combination of products, we may be able to deliver both to one address for less than it would cost to deliver them separately. CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS POLICY:
Cancellations:
Once an order has been entered, it can only be cancelled if done so before shipment.
Once the shipment has been made, the charges stand.
If a shipment can be retrieved from a trucker before delivery, all freight charges, storage charges, restocking charges, and any damages will be deducted from the credit against the invoice.
Credits will be issued in the same manner of payment received (e.g. credit card payment = credit card credit).
Returns:
For the most part, our units are not returnable; however, in special instances we offer a 30-day return policy. Please note that returns will only be accepted with prior authorization from our manufacturer, MDM Products, LLC, 105 Woodmont Road, Milford, CT 06460, USA, and returns will be subject to a restocking charge (you will also be responsible for the return shipping costs). Please know what you are purchasing before you buy - and be sure that any permits you may need to erect one of these structures are in place before you buy.
Please check with your town or residence associations before ordering to ensure that our products are allowed in your neighborhood, or to obtain any necessary permits. We do not accept returns due to permitting or association issues.
Returns that are not in the same box and in new and saleable condition will not be accepted.
The sole judgment of MDM Products, LLC - Rhino Shelter on salability and product condition will be final.
In all instances, the buyer is responsible for all freight charges - for both deliveries and returns.
DIRECTIONS TO THE MDM RHINO WAREHOUSE:
Planning to pick up your order at the MDM Rhino Warehouse in Milford, CT? After placing your order (and choosing the "Warehouse Pick Up" option), you will need to schedule your pick up with David Clayton at the warehouse BEFORE driving out. Call David at 1-800-447-7079 Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm to schedule. Pick ups are typically scheduled between 8:30 am and noon, then again from 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm.
The office and warehouse is located at 105 Woodmont Road in Milford CT 06460, very close to Exit 40 of the Connecticut Turnpike, Interstate Route 95.
If Driving from the North or East:
If coming from north of us, traveling south on Route 91, take it to the end in New Haven where it intersects with Route I-95 and head south towards New York. When coming from the East of us, take the CT Turnpike (I-95) south towards New York City. If coming south on Route 95 from RI, continue on I-95, which is the CT Turnpike.
The town of Milford is located between West Haven and Stratford. Proceed south on Route 95 from New Haven, proceeding to Exit #40 ‘Woodmont Road’ in Milford. At the base of the exit ramp, turn right onto Woodmont Road. Our building is the 3rd building on the left hand side. There is a sign on the lawn and a mailbox with the number (105) right next to the driveway. The building has a glass walled showroom in front of a white industrial block body. The actual offices are located at the rear of the parking lot. The office entry is underneath the blue awning.
If Driving from the South or West:
From the Tappan Zee Bridge, take the Cross Westchester Expressway (Route 287) to the end, proceeding on Route I-95 North. From the George Washington Bridge or New York City proper, take Route I-95 out of the city until it turns into the CT Turnpike. Taking the CT Turnpike north, proceed until reaching Exit #40 ‘Woodmont Road’ in Milford. At the exit ramp, make a left turn at the traffic light. Proceed ¼ mile on Old Gate Lane to the next light, and turn left onto Woodmont Road back underneath Route 95. Go straight through the traffic light on the other side, and the MDM building is the 3rd on the left. The building has a glass walled showroom in front of a white industrial block body. The actual offices are located at the rear of the parking lot. The office entry is underneath the blue awning.
